With over two decades of experience and Five Hundred Books – Eli is a well known Craftsman.  He’s is a member of The Manhattan Arts International and WEDU/PBS. This guy has worked with many industries, companies, authors, publishers, printers and producers. Mr. Blyden is the owner of CrunchTime Graphics and designs numerous books for his Author-Friends & Publishers. He is an avid reader. His specialty and passion is rendering impressive material with feeling that commands the attention of the target audience. His motto is “Dream…and I’ll Help You Bring Your Ideas to Life”.  He has a portfolio as diverse as can be imagined. His focal points are God–first, family, humanity, smart work and healthy eating. Even as a child, Eli has been a lover of art, people and travel, living a healthy lifestyle in sunny Florida, along with his wife, three sons, a library of autographed books and good friends. Most of his confidants are authors and clients who keep in constant contact due, in part, to his great customer service and love for humanity.

Designing hi-end book graphics and marketing promotions. Specializing in book covers designs, book and eBook formatting.  Responsible for thought provoking graphics and intelligent design ideas.   The goal is to internalize ideas and visions into tangible and valuable products used for publishing.  Offering Quality Marketing Communications and Promos: from product designs -to- logos, from business cards -to- billboards for advertisers and publishers.

Artist and Graphic Designer at IKON Office Solutions

January 2005 – June 2006 (1.5 years)

Designing corporate IDs for various companies in the medical industry.  I would also update and redesign training material made in PowerPoint and Publisher. This required a working understanding of Pantone matching and font identification.

January 2001 – January 2005 (4 years)

I managed and maintained the working efficiency and stability of prepress department.  My responsibilities were to receive, review and archive files to be printed. This involved assisting authors and artists to set-up, fix or prepare materials to be printed.  I kept a working understanding of the publishing industry’s standards, equipment, programs and policies. I also, advised authors, self-publishers and publishers of pitfalls and common mistakes made in publishing. Cultivated great customer relations and confirmed their satisfaction with finished products. What a great experience, working for Bill Ashby Sir., whom taught me so much about the industry and getting the job done!

Here, I conceptualized, created and fine-tuned marketing materials for direct mail distribution. As the artist, I worked closely with the database managers for variable data entry.
